Portfolio
Caketoppers
I have been working for Caketoppers since 2013 and have implemented many new features, bug fixes as well as re-factoring large amounts of code in to re-useable objects on their Classic ASP Website. In 2021 I completely re-developed their website to run on the LAMP stack.
The Shackleton Association
I re-designed the Shackleton Association Website to make it cross-browser compatible and make it more accessible for members of their association. The website is now managed and maintained in a bespoke Content Management System which is template based and browser editable, storing data in XML files rather than on-line databases.
CANadda
I volunteered to develop and maintain CANadda'a website in 2010.
The website had been produced in a text editor which was not ideal for long term maintentance. I originally implemented the site using WordPress, but due to regular robot hack attempts I transferred it to a simpler and more secure online Content Management System.
Manta 19 Trailer Sailer
The Manta 19 website is a personal project aimed at keeping owners of these fantastic 1980's trailer sailer yachts in touch. It started as a personal sailing log but due to increased interest, I implemented forums and chat features and finally created a full blown PHP/MySql social networking website.
